Gate Church International Warsaw Mission 2011

On June 27, 2011, in Church Life, Ignition, Testimonies, by Graeme Sutherland

The 50 strong Warsaw mission team, in June 2011, have arrived home safely with testimonies of changed lives and souls won to Christ – over 140 people in total, across the 10 day mission.

“We need to be so chuffed with these guys… I was so delighted to watch the young adults of our church go and serve…” – Pastor Fiona

“I have to say how proud I am of the team we brought. They really stepped it up. They went out, and were bold and courageous, and shared their testimonies and the gospel on the street… I’m really excited about what’s going to happen here in Dundee, because the 48 of us are pumped!” – Aimee

“It talks in the Bible about being “ambassadors for Christ”, and I want to tell you that these young people were true ambassadors for Christ. They were also great ambassadors for you as a church… I’ve been on lot’s of missions in my 21 years as a Christian, and this is without a doubt the best mission we as a church have ever done.

But I want to tell you why that is. It’s because we, as a church, are at a different place. And there’s an excitement in our house for church planting and soul winning. But it’s not full of puff. It’s full of the reality of what God’s doing in the midst of you. And that’s why 48 young people went to another nation. It’s because God’s doing something in our house.

So Poland 2011 is over. Congratulations.

But guess what? Jesus is ‘Lord of the harvest’, and Dundee 2011 is on. So, embrace the opportunities that are before you today, and this year.” – Paul
