Children’s Church

Here at Children’s Church our vision is to see each child build and develop a personal relationship with God, growing in worship and prayer, and training up the children to play their important role in their generation. We believe that children are of equal value in God’s eyes and are worth special attention.

Our workers are trained in child protection issues and are Disclosure Scotland checked. We also operate a security card system to maximise your child’s safety.

Baby Church

Baby Church is for infants aged between birth and two years old. At Baby Church we seek to demonstrate God’s love to the babies through singing, story telling, play and lots of repetition. We cover 3 main areas: things God has made, things God gives us and love for all He has created. Through ministering to the children in these areas we can do so much more than just babysitting. We have the opportunity to sow into their lives the truth of God’s love for them, knowing that we are laying foundations of precious stones.

Toddler’s Church

At Toddlers Church children aged 2- 4 years are welcomed to play with fun toys in a place where they can feel safe, secure and play with their friends. Sessions include sing a longs with musical instruments, storytelling from the Bible, learning that we can talk to God, making craft and a healthy snack.

Mini Church

Mini Church is for pre-school – P1. Children are welcomed by the team to a fun activity where they can play and talk with friends. Children are encouraged to sing, listen to stories from the Bible and talk to God using their own words. Sessions are based on the teaching programme by Scripture Union, covering all the main characters and topics of the Bible using a variety of activities including songs, drama, games, arts and crafts. A healthy snack is also provided.

Emerge

Emerge is for P2 and P3. Children in this age group have the opportunity to learn about who God is and how they can know him personally. Sessions include worship using Hillsongs Kids DVD’s. Interactive and fun activities are used to explore God’s word using Scripture Union’s teaching programme. A healthy snack is provided.

X-Stream

X-Stream is for P4 – P7. Children in this group are encouraged to dance, sing and have fun worshipping God. We are currently working our way through the Hillsong Kids Big Curriculum, with this age group. Children are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with God, to hear His voice and pray for others. A healthy snack is provided.

Mother and Baby Room

The mother and baby room is available as a quiet room for feeding mothers and their babies. Tea and coffee facilities are provided and a live link to the main Sunday service is also available.
