Church Life
Life often brings storms that can either shape us or break us. For any tree to survive in a storm, it needs to develop deep roots. At Gate Church International we believe that for Christians to truly grow in their relationships with God and survive life’s storms, they must be firmly rooted in their relationship with God as well as be planted firmly, with deep roots, in the Body of Christ–released through a strong local church.
In life, it is important for us to make wise choices and have good friends to help us on our journey with God. “He who walks with the wise grows wise…” (Proverbs 13:19). We see ourselves as family, friends, and partners of the commission that God has given us to “go and make disciples of all nations,” (Matthew 28:18-20), not just as those who help people begin their journey with God, but to see them “flourishing in the house of God,” (Psalm 52:7).

Community Action
In the “The Message” version of the Bible, Mark 16:15 reads:
“Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.”
Our response to that encouragement is to think of ourselves as a church ‘without walls’ and to be people who act as a strong and positive influence in the places where we “work, rest and play” – to borrow the familiar phrase.
There is ALWAYS opportunity for you to find a place to get involved across the city, whatever your age or ability may be.
